Solenne Piret is an exceptional professional climber and a four-time world champion in para-climbing. Born in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, surrounded by mythical boulders, she developed a love for outdoor climbing. After a few detours into other sports and earning a degree in architecture, it was in 2017 that a special the encounter broadened her horizons and got her to find her place within the para-climbing competition world. Born with a malformation of the right forearm, Solenne has never let this obstacle hold her back. In the summer of 2024, she completed a multipitch route in Chamonix at an altitude of 3,800 meters, with difficulty going up to 6B. Today, she is resolutely focused on the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, where she intends to push the limits of what is possible: “Everything has yet to be written in this sport. As a child, competing at the Olympics was a dream I could never dare to imagine. Today, I'm going to do everything I can to smash it all! ”, she tells us. So far, everything suggests that Solenne’s determination knows no bounds. We are proud to have this inspiring athlete join the Flathold family, and help her redefine the standards of our sport.
